Terms of use

Draft for review. Have these checked before you rely on them.
By using Booner you agree to these terms.
Booner is a guide, not the law
Booner shows map data from public agencies and other sources. It can be incomplete, wrong or out of date: roads close, seasons change, boundaries move. You are responsible for following posted signs, Motor Vehicle Use Maps, land manager orders and state hunting and fishing regulations. Check with the managing agency when it matters.
Don’t rely on Booner alone for navigation or safety in the backcountry. Carry a paper map, tell someone your plans, and turn back when conditions call for it.
The Booner assistant can make mistakes. Check its answers, especially about regulations and seasons.
Beta
Booner is in beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may reset or change access. We’ll try to keep your saved data safe, but keep your own copies of anything important (Booner exports GPX).
Your account and content
Keep your sign-in email secure. You own the waypoints, routes, tracks and files you add, and you give us permission to store and process them to run Booner for you. Only import files you have the right to use.
Fair use
Don’t misuse Booner: no scraping, overloading the servers, reselling access or trying to get around add-on limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
Paid add-ons
Add-ons such as the assistant and Google maps are granted for a set period and may have usage limits. Plans and pricing will be published before billing starts.
No warranty
Booner is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss or damage from using it, including from relying on map data.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Booner means you accept the update.
